Every membership carries one of four roles.

| Role | Can do |
|---|---|
| **owner** | Full control: everything below, plus billing and organization settings. |
| **admin** | Manage members and settings: invite, change roles, remove members. |
| **member** | Standard access: connect accounts, publish, create API keys. |
| **viewer** | Read-only: see jobs, accounts, and insights without changing anything. |

## Choosing a role

- Give **admin** to people who manage the team, not to everyone.
- **member** is the right default for anyone who publishes or builds.
- **viewer** fits clients or stakeholders who only need to see the state of things.

Roles are per organization. The same person can be an owner in one organization and a viewer in another.
